There is direct cable car access from the centre of Abondance village-resort to the ski domain. It will open following government authorizations. This ski area is connected to Les Portes du Soleil and Montagnes d’Evian domains by shuttle buses.

In the middle of a sublime panorama, the Abondance ski domain unravels its 17km of ski runs between 1730m and 950m altitudes. The runs provide beginners and experts alike access to the joys of winter sports in a wild and authentic backdrop. The Abondance ski domain is ideal for learning and the Ludoffaz snow front in the village centre offers fully equipped slopes for beginners to learn all the pleasures of activities on the snow.

From Abondance, you can join the 12 Portes du Soleil French-Swiss resorts and their 286 runs and 207 ski lifts. They are accessed by using the shuttle buses (timetables available at the Tourist Office).

You can ski in Abondance, as well as Bernex and Thollon ski resorts with this ski pass. Bernex has a charming small ski domain and Thollon has THE most beautiful view across Lake Geneva.
"Alpine Ski" Insurance
This insurance covers all research and rescue costs, as well as medical repatriation directly. Depending on the insurance options you have purchased, the insurance will reimburse you for your ski lift pass or your Nordic access card, and your ski lessons paid and booked in advance. In the event that your stay is interrupted due to an accident, illness (with hospitalisation), early return, the insurance will refund your ski lift pass, or your Nordic access card and your ski lessons on a pro rata basis unused from the 2nd day of the insurance*.
